You just keep climbing and climbing until the air gets so thin and your judgement so skewed that you eventually yell the sentence you used to make fun of people for saying: “Do you know who I am?” what they are really saying is, “Do you know who I am? Because I don’t. I lost sight of that person a long time ago.”
